School Uniform

We want every child to feel happy and confident on their first day back at school.  Uniforms and school essentials can be a huge financial burden for families We want to help every child feel proud and comfortable when starting school. We currently partner with 12 primary schools across Brighton and Hove to provide free, unbranded uniforms and PE kit to families who otherwise would struggle to afford this for their children.

🎒List of schools we currently support:

Bevendean Primary
City Academy Whitehawk
Coombe Road Primary
Downs View
Moulsecoomb Primary
Queen’s Park Primary
Rudyard Kipling
St Andrew’s Primary
St John the Baptist
St Marks CE Primary
St Martin’s Primary
Woodingdean Primary

Our school parcels include shoes for kids who otherwise would be wearing sizes too small for their growing feet; shirts, trousers, skirts, and jumpers that fit and look new; PE kits including plimsolls or trainers; a bag to carry their school things so they don’t have to use carrier bags; and a new pencil case with the stationery basics and a couple of age appropriate reading books.

In 2025 we gave out over 3426 school uniform items to children living in poverty, so they too could feel happy and confident on the first day back to school and every other day too.

In 2026 we plan to increase the number of schools we support, which means we will need even more donations of new and pre-loved items, as well as financial donations to be able to fulfil all requests.

💙You can help by…

  • Donating good condition pre-loved unbranded uniform items
  • Donating the “one free” item from uniform promotions
  • Donating money so we can buy shoes and other new stock
  • Sharing our social media posts with other parents
  • Coordinating a collective donation through your class WhatsApp group or PTA
