Our Business Volunteering Programme is a brilliant team-building opportunity. It’s a chance to connect with your local community and understand first-hand what it means for families to go without the basics.
If your company offers paid volunteering as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, or you are part of a team who wants to help a good cause, then we’d love to hear from you.
Our sessions are fun, satisfying and productive. We provide a relaxed environment where you can bond as a team. We will work with you to ensure tasks are appropriate, we’ll brief you at the start of the day, and we will support you throughout your time with us.

What to expect
Team volunteering at Pelican Parcels is a hands-on, rewarding and social experience. Every day is slightly different depending on what support is needed most, but here’s an example of how your volunteering day could look.
- 10:00am Arrive at the warehouse, meet the team and get settled
- 10:05am Enjoy a tour of the warehouse to see first-hand the work we do
- 10:20am Receive training on the Pelican Standard
- 10:30am Get stuck into your task alongside your colleagues
- 12:30pm Take a well-earned break and chat with volunteers and staff about the impact of Pelican Parcels’ work
- 1:00pm Continue working together on your team challenge, helping to sort, pack or prepare essential items for local families
- 1:50pm Wrap up for the day and see what you’ve achieved. You’ll be amazed at how much a team can accomplish in just a few hours
- 2:00pm Time for a group photo and a chance to celebrate the difference you’ve made, alongside providing feedback on your day
Please note: activities will vary depending on operational needs and the size of your group.
